Santa Claus is coming to town.

Hello everyone,
How many days left until Christmas Eve? And Christmas Day?
Santa is visiting us next week and he's checking his list.
Have you been naughty or good?

Santa is an old man who has got a long beard and a big moustache. He has got a red and white suit and brown boots. He has got a lot of presents for children in his sack.
He has got helpers called elves and a famous reindeer which guides him called Rudolph.

Year 6 student, Amanda, has drawn this pic of Santa for a friend in England and Year 4 students, Lucía and Nebdret have coloured it. Do you like this pic of Father Christmas?

This is one of my favourite song for Christmas.I hope you like it

UEFA European championship 2016.

Hi everyone,

UEFA European Championship 2016 will be played in France next summer. Yesterday it was the drawing and Spain is in Group D with Turkey, Czech Republic and Croatia.

Image taken from UEFA

How far is Croatia from Spain? And Turkey? And Czech Republic? Look at the map and think the furthest and the nearest country?
Will Spain go far at EURO 2016?

What about the rest of the groups? Which is the easiest one? And the most difficult?

There are two British teams in the same group. Moreover England will play against Wales for the first time at a tournament.

Do you know the name of  any English or Welsh players? Where do they play? Are they famous?

Who will win the tournament next year? Who is your favourite team? And player?

Check the schedule. The first match will be on Friday 10th June and it will face Estonia and France in

Spain must not repeat the debacle of Brazil world cup.

Christmas cards are on the way.

Hi everyone,
Last week our students made their beautiful Christmas cards for their pen pals for Epsom, Surrey, England. They wrote some greeting messages and drew some Christmas and winter pictures on the front.
Last Saturday I woke up early, then I had breakfast a cup of coffee and some toast and took some pics of most of the cards.

After that I put them in different envelopes and I went to the post office. It cost me six euros each envelope and I paid by credit card. It was a busy morning for me.

Can you find all the irregular verbs in the past form in the text above?

Now look at the pictures and revise the vocabulary students have added to the pictures.

How do you say that in English?

Constitution Day: 6th December.

Hi everyone,
We celebrate Constitution Day in Spain today and Immaculate Conception on Thursday what means we have two official days off to chill out and rest this week.
Constitution Day is a national public holiday and also Immaculate Conception.

The Constitution is the basis of the law. An original copy, signed by King Juan Carlos I on the 27th December, is in the Congress of Deputies in Madrid.
It went into effect on the 29th of the same month.

Pick: Constitution Day

Constitution Day marks  a referendum held in Spain on 6th December 1978.
The referendum was approved and it was the first step to reestablish democracy under the political form of parliamentary monarchy, after a long  dictatorship period which started in 1939 and ended in 1978. Before that ,"The fathers of the Constitution", politicians who had different political ideas, worked on a draft which was also approved by the Spanish Parliament on 31st October 1978. These political leaders represented a wide spectrum within the Parliament.

When does it start? What happens during advent?
To get more information click here.

Do you decorate your house?
