Do you remember John Lennon's classic "Imagine"?

Hello everyone,
These talented musicians have rewritten John Lennon's classic "Imagine" as a tribute to the frontline heroes working in hospitals during the coronavirus crisis.
The musicians filmed their performances at their home and released it via Facebook.
They want to support  and raise money for Denia and Alicante hospitals.
Watch this emotional and heart-warming version of Lennon released in 1971.
Information taken from "Costa Blanca News".

The group said:
"We are imagining those who are suffering;
who have lost loved ones;
imagining those who are alone;
imagining the businesses that can no longer function
and maybe won't survive;
imagine all the people who are on the frontline
who are risking it all to protect us".

Today we have celebrated the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace.
We have made up the peace symbol and have sung John Lennon's song "Give peace a chance".

We have also learnt more about Lennon and his music and have done some online activities about his music.

Students have also made placards showing peace messages.

Some students have invented their own choreography for the famous Lennon's Song "Give peace a chance".

John Lennon: Imagine. UNICEF.

Hello everybody,
Christmas is around the corner and Imagine is one of the famous songs written by John Lennon.
Its lyrics encourage to imagine a world at peace.
Last year UNICEF wanted to prove John Lennon was not the only one to imagine, the goal was to change a child's life with your voice.

Would you like to share your own recording of Lennon's classical song with friends and family and encourage others to perform imagine too?
"A dream you dream alone may be a dream, but a dream two people dream together is a reality", Yoko Ono said.

You can get more information about the #IMAGINE project:
English Imagine project

Spanish Proyecto Imagine

Listen to the Official song for this project. It's fantastic.

Click here to read 24 inspirational quotes for 2016.

Which is your favourite one?
Mine is: "You will never win if you never begin".RH Schuller, Motivational speaker.

I want to share this song by John Lennon called "So this is Christmas" (War is over). We must think about the consequences of war and violence and the impact on children.

Do you know anybody who has been exposed to war?
Do you know what unaccompanied children are?
Do you know that a lot of children lose the opportunity of schooling?
Do you know that a lot of children lose their community and culture?

What have we done? What can we do this new year?
