Teachers have got such important roles as educators to raise awareness of diversity and to promote the importance of tolerance.

We are all so different and unique and we are all united against bullying.

Remember it's also very important to be kind online and add value.

The theme is "United Against Bullying" and we are going to wear Odd Socks on Thursday and Friday.

Then it's important to put your socks on these two days.

We want to raise awareness of the damage bullying can do to young children in school, that's why we are participating in the campaign #OddSocksDay.

We think it's a fantastic opportunity for children to have fun, express themselves and appreciate individuality.

This year the theme is "Change starts with us".

Do you know the consequences of bullying and cyberbullying?
Psychological effects:
It can cause psychological effects like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harming behaviour, and even suicide.

Physical effects:
They can be sleep disorders, stomachaches, headaches, heart palpitations, dizziness and even bed wetting.

Academic effects:
Bullying and cyberbullying can have a negative impact and how children do in schools.
