27th September Global Climate Strike. Fridays for future. Do it now.

Our students have stepped up to support young climate strikers in the world and demand and end to the age fossil fuels.

They have also joined the campaign "Sing for the planet" and they have sung the song "Do it now" at the school playground.

Stage 2 "La vuelta", Planes, Alicante.

Hello everyone,
Let's continue talking about summer holidays. Can you cycle? Is it your favourite sport?
"La vuelta" went past Planes de La baronia in its second stage.
Nairo Quintana, the Movistar leader, attacked near Calpe and won the stage.

The second stage started in Benidorm and finished in, Calpe, Alicante.
Cyclists went up the beautiful Alicante mountains and after that they went down.
Here you can watch cyclists going through Planes de La Baronia,  a beautiful village in the north of Alicante. After that they went to Almudaina, another beautiful village where an old arab tower can be visited.






 Barranc de L'Encantà, Planes. This pool is used by some people to have a swim and cool themselves off by bathing in the pool. The water is cold.

Dansa in Bocairent, Valencia.

Hello everybody,
How are you after summer holidays? I hope fine. Here you can see some of the activities I did during my summer holidays.
I visited the beautiful village Bocairent, in Valencia, and I watched the traditional "dansà".
It is celebrated in August and it has kept the same ritual, music and costumes for centuries.

Cremà on the 24th June: Celebration of Nativity Saint John The Baptism.

Hello everyone,
"La cremà" is the act of setting fire to the "Fogueres" (Show art monuments) in Alicante, Sant Joan d'Alacant and other places.



























These monuments are burnt every 24th June, after St. John's Eve to celebrate the Nativity of Saint John Baptism. This monument was burnt in Sant Joan d'Alacant, Alicante, Spain.
It's called "Nit d la cremà", night of burning.





There's also a funny part called "La banyà", soaking while firefighters put out the blazes.
Attendees ask firefighters to throw water on them to alleviate with the heat.

Hogueras Sant Joan 2019. Monuments erected in the centre of the city in Alicante.

Hello everyone, Here you can see some of the Bonfires of Saint John 2019 in Alicante, Spain. These monuments are an art show and they are made of cardboard, wood, mud, paintings,...Bonfires (art monuments) have got a lot of figures called "ninots" which express their dissatisfaction with the society, politicians, economy, environment,... Ninots usually represent a famous person. Here you can see some of them.

Water activities for the last day of class or summer days.

Hello everyone,
Today is the last day of class for nursery and primary school students (Secondary students finished two years ago). So it's a special day for all the students and teachers!
Here you can see some pictures of the water activities students have done in the playground and how we can get valuable information for our groups.

The type of language students use.
They also provide information how students approach problem solving.
They give us information about the way they play, I mean fairly or unfairly and how they behave: who complains, who tries, who cheats, who fails and gives up, who learns form mistakes or watching others,

Do you use Tik Tok or a similar APP? Then you should read carefully "the fine print of the contract" or their privacy policy and Terms and Conditions (T&C) agreements, before downloading the app, to find out what they do with the data they collect. Everybody should do the same with the rest of applications.

REMEMBER: It is very important to read it, even though it is boring as hell.

Hello everyone,
Do you use Instagram? Then you should know this information.
Do you want everybody to watch the pictures you post or only your friends?
Then you must adjust your settings in order to only your friends see them.
Once you have set your Instagram settings to private it's supposed that only your followers or people you approve can see the pictures.

Instagram says Privacy and Safety Center says:
"You can make your post private in the Instagram so only approved followers can see them".

Champions League Final: Liverpool Vs Tottenham

Last Saturday was the Champions League Final: Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham.
The kick-off was at 9 pm (Spanish time) and the match was played at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano. The stadium has got a capacity for 63,500 spectators.
Liverpool manager is the German Jurgen Klopp and "Spurs" boss is the Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino.

Europa League 2019 Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

Hello everyone,
Chelsea beat Arsenal 4-1to win European League final played in Baku, Azerbaijan,  yesterday.

Marcos is wearing Chelsea home colours, blue shorts and blue T-shirt. That's why they are called "the blues.




One of his favourite players in the Belgian Hazard, who will probably play for R. Madrid next season.





Some Spanish players play for Chelsea, included their captain and goalkeeper, Azpilicueta and Kepa.

The President of USA, Donald Trump tweeted that he will announce his decision on Paris Accord today at 3:00 PM last year.











That accord or agreement deals with greenhouse gas emissions mitigation.

This is The Green House Effect. We must do something to stop the Climate change.





















The last decade was the warmest on earth in the past 800,000 years.

Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970. Freddie Mercury was the lead singer of the rock band. He formed Queen with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor.
