Hello everyone,

Do you think we still have black inequality?

School Day of Non-Violence and Peace

Hello everyone,
It's important for students to learn values of peace and participate for building a democratic coexistence together. Schools, homes and other places are the right place where children must start consolidating these values: Peace, Equality, Justice, frredom, Coexistence in diversity, Friendship and Solidarity.
Yesterday we celebrated School Day of Non-Violence and Peace in our school.

Students went to the playground, danced, read some Peace poems and sang the beautiful song "De ellos aprendí" by David Rees.

Wonderful world by Sam Cooke.

Hello everyone,
This week we have been working on the song "Wonderful world" by Sam Cooke.
Students must think about the song: What type of music is it? When was it written? Is it a love song or a protest one? Why?
They must also get information about Sam Cooke, birth, death, nationality, nickname,...
Finally we have learnt some vocabulary, revise present tense, phonetics, rhyme and "do" to emphasise.
Students have created pictures inspired by the song and have performed it. They have created some Gospel musical groups.

Here you can listen to the song.
