Este año estamos aprendiendo a trabajar las TAC, es decir, las tecnologías del Aprendizaje y del Conocimiento. Aquí dejamos trabajos que hemos hecho, vídeos que hemos sentido y disfrutado, nuestras creaciones... ¡A disfrutar!
This year we want to learn English with TICs. Here you can find most of activities we do in the classroom. and we get from our pen pals from Stamford Green Primary School in Epsom, England and games to learn.
It's doubtless that one of the "must see" bars in Belfast is "The Duke of York" where you can sample the real flavour of Belfast. I loved going there Fridays and Saturdays in order to enjoy the live music and the worm and cosy atmosphere.
Have a look at all the signs around the world. What can you see?
It's incredible the unique decoration inside the bar: mirrors, clocks, bottles, glasses, lamps.
I loved all the music, but the crowd got crazy when they played:
"Take me home, country roads" by John Denver.
Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison also known as "The Belfast lion".
History
Who is the current Duke of York? And Prince of Wales?
Today the European Researcher's Night has taken place in 26 countries. It has also been celebrated in Alicante University, Spain, and it has gathered thousands of visitors. Children and families have had the opportunity to know how researchers work. There have been a lot of educational activities such as science shows, games, quizzes, competitions, exhibitions and digital activities.
This telescope allows us us to observe the position of astronomical objects, stars...
Let's share this song by the British band Coldplay called "A sky full of stars". I hope you like it.
The song called "Dust in the wind" by Kansas can summarise everything.
The rock band became popular in the 1970s. "Dust in the wind" is one of their hit singles.
I love another rock band, formed in Melbourne (Australia) in 1985, called Crowded House.
This is one of my favourite songs which is also very popular.
And This is a tribute to Led Zeppelin, a British Band formed in London in 1968, which composed "Stairway to Heaven. This was at the Kennedy Center Honors. Incredible performance.
Last month we celebrated School Day of Non-Violence and Peace and we learnt the story of Sadako Sasaki. We also leant that the name of the plane which dropped the atomic bomb in Hiroshima on the 6 August 1945 was "Enola Gay. The bomb killed more than 100,000 citizens.
"Enola Gay" is also a very famous anti-war song by the British band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, OMD. Do you know why the plane had that name?
The pilot, Paul Tibbets because her mum was called Enola Gay Tibbets. Her mum got this name due to the heoine of the novel Enola;or, her fatal mistake.
Do you know the meaning of TPR? The acronym TPR means total physical response.
Students can learn a language by listening to and carrying out instructions according to Dr. James Asher. His theory says that a language can be more easily learnt if we look how children learn their first language.
TPR songs is a good way to keep young learners moving and keep them warm.
We have adapted this song to practice it in the playground during periods of ventilation.
Students also have fun at the same time they learn.
It' really cold in the classrooms and there are some songs we can sing and dance outside (if it's not raining or snowing) to warm up and ventilate the classroom.
REMEMBER: VENTILATION IS KEY. It's important to let the air flows from the classroom through the door of the classroom opposite.
Let's go outside and do the "Hokey Pokey" song.
There are hundreds of versions of this song.
The British Council "Learn Ennglish website" has got a different one called "El juego de Hokey Pokey".
