Last Thursday we celebrated the beginning of Moors and Christians in our school.
Our children sang the local anthem in honour of the patron saint "San Bonifaci".
Petrer will celebrate Moors and Christians fiestas from 11th-15th May.

Hello everybody,
It  snowed in Petrer and a lot of villages in the province of Alicante last Thursday.
The landscape is beautiful now and children love the snow and play with it.

The beautiful plateau you can see in the middle is called the "Chair of El Cid" which rises up over the "Medio Vinalopó" region in the province of Alicante. The views from the summit are amazing.

Our students are participating in an etwinning project with their penpals in Stamford Green Primary School Epsom, England. More than 240 students have created a Christmas card to send to their pen pals.

Students are using the tool "Paint" to modify their pics and they are having a really good time. After that, they have shared their work using drive for all the students to appreciate their creations.

Hello everyone,

France are now the current World, European and Olympic champions. They are the first team in handball history to win five championship. Spain won two years ago when it was celebrated here but they couldn't beat France last Friday. France won the match with an amazing goalie, Thierry Omeyer, between the posts.

The Spanish player ,Gedeón Guardiola, was born in Petrer.
In fact, at the end of this short interview he shouts: "Viva Petrer".

The pavilion in the sports centre is called "Gedeón i Isaías Guardiola Vilaplana".
