International Mother Language 2025

 Hello everyone,

Do you feel proud of your mother language? I do.

International Mother Language is observed on February 21 st to celebrate linguistic diversity and preserve mother tongues globally. This year marks the 25th anniversary of this celebration, it's its "Silver Jubilee". Here you can read the message from Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Director General Of UNESCO, on the coassion of International Mother Language Day.

Think about INDIA, we are learning some basic information about this country. We are also interested in knowing the amount of languages spoken there. They represent the country's rich cultural heritage.

Let's see some drawings for this celebration.

Belfast: UNESCO City of Music: The Sunflower

 Hello everyone,

Belfast was designated a UNESCO City of Music in 2021. Wherever you go, you can find live music across many genres. One of those places is "The Sunflower" where you can also enjoy people who gather to play together every week.

These are some of the songs, by the British band "The Waterboys", I have enjoyed more here.

Right to Education: 711 million adults are illiterate.

 Hello everyone,

The United Nations General Assembly UNESCO proclaimed 24 January as International Day of Education. They say 244 million children and youth are out of school, and 711 million adults are illiterate.

The fifth International Day of Education has been celebrated on 24 January under the theme "to invest in people, prioritize education"

This video has helped us talk about adults who are illiterate.

Have you ever talked about this with your grandparents? It could be quite interesting.
