Anti-Bullying Week: Our pen pals.

Hello everyone:
Did you know that our pen pals are also celebrating Anti-Bullying week in their school?
I love the quote year 4 student called Jade has included because it's wonderful:
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is wasted"

We want to raise awareness of the damage bullying can do to young children in school, that's why we are participating in the campaign #OddSocksDay.

We think it's a fantastic opportunity for children to have fun, express themselves and appreciate individuality.
Our children are invited to wear Odd Socks on Thursday 14th November.

Andy and the Odd Socks are patrons for the Anti-Bullying Alliance.

Here you can watch some of their songs.

Let's watch this video and think:

Think about actions we can take to change things. What changes do you think you can make?

Example: Be polite saying "Good morning", "Hello", "Please", "Thank you", "I like it", "It's beautiful", "It's cool".
"Don't spread a rumour".
"Smile"
"Be helpful".
"Treat everyone kindly and with respect".
"Be nice".
"Don't mock".
"Don't say nasty words".

REMEMBER:
"It's all of the little changes you make as well"
"Not everyone is the same, we are all unique in different ways"
