The Jelling stone

Hello everybody, Last Friday we visited the archaeological museum of Alicante, called MARQ. We saw the exhibition "Vikings warriors from the North. Giants of the sea".

We also participated in a workshop to learn about the "Jelling stone".

It's easy to decorate the stone, you need this material and be patient:
Some clay, a small plastic plate, a pencil, a paintbrush, tempera and carbon paper.

You can se this replica (art reproduction) in the museum.

After that we took a picture of all of us and our teachers at the main entrance of the museum.
We had a really good time and we learnt a lot of things about vikings.
