The Heritage of Quin and Han Dynasties, China. XI'AN WARIORS: La TIZA. MARQ MUSEUM and Santa Bárbara Castle.

 Hello everyone,

The report published by the province newspaper Diario Información, in its school supplement La TIZA, covers our school trip.

Year 5 students visited MARQ museum, L'Ereta Park and Santa Bárbara castle in Alicante last Wednesday.

Students loved the international exhibition "The Heritage of Quin and Han Dinasties, China. XI'AN WARIORS" which shows us the fascinating world of Imperial China.

The Quin Dynasty was the first dynasty, lasting from 221 to 206 B.C, and it was founded by Quin Shi Huang. He was the first emperor Quin.

When the first emperor died in 210 B.C. Liu Bang founded the Han dynasty which ruled China from 202 B. C. to 220 C.E.

Castle of Santa Bárbara and Benacantil Mount: legends, sights, Kings, Queens.

 Hello everyone,

The castle of Santa Bárbara is at the top of Benacantil Mount in the center of the city.

We can see the sea, the port area, the old and the new parts of the city and learn tragic love legends like "The face of the Moor" or the journey to Spain of Christina of Norway in 1257.
