Year 6 A students Celebrate European Day of Languages and congratulate their English Pen pals.

Hello everyone,
Year 6 students celebrate "European Day of Languages".  Are you going to celebrate it?

They have recorded this video to celebrate European Day of Languages and congratulate their English pen pals who study in Stamford Green Primary School, Epsom, England.

They have also drawn round their hands and have included information about where their family come from and the languages spoken at home.

We will exchange our hands each other and we will investigate about languages and countries.
It's important to remark that schools and teachers must create opportunities using different kind of activities for  students to learn. Moreover, it's also really important to use different spaces and materials.

Where did English come from? European Day of Languages 2017.

Hello everyone,
We are working to celebrate European Day of Languages on September 26th and we want to stimulate our students' curiosity and promote learning. Everybody knows that curiosity is a big motivator. Then we want students to think about this question: Where did English come from? What do the languages spoken in different countries around the world have in common with each other? We want to learn about differences and similarities again.
