European Day of Languages: 26th September

 Hi everyone,

Let's celebrate European Day of Languages. Do you promote plurilingualism in your school, your family, among your friends, your village, your city? We love learning new languages.

We have been celebrating  European Day of Languages every year since 2012 on 26 September together with our friends from Stamford Green Primary School, England.

We are going to investigate languages spoken in United Kingdom and Eire, apart from English and our friends are going to investigate languages spoken in Spain apart from Spanish.

We also want to learn more about the origin of those languages.

We consider linguistic diversity very important because it connects people to their histories, families, homes and friends. It is also an expression of creativity, intelligence and innovation of humans.

Look at this political map of United Kingdom and Eire.
