Hello everyone,
Our SDS wonderful Band are going to perform the Anthem of Europe to celebrate Europe Day on 9th May.
Did you know that the melody comes from Ninth Symphony composed in 1823 by Ludwig Van Beethoven?
The anthem symbolises a wider sense: rich history, diverse cultures within each country, peaceful people.
