What does this expression mean? Where does it come from?
Our student Eva is very small and she says:
Hello, Teacher! I found out that a long time ago, people who lived near the sea in Spain looked out for pirate ships from North Africa. The pirates were dangerous, so if they weren’t coming, people would say “No hay moros en la costa”, which means “There are no pirates on the coast.” 😁.

Do you know Ultimate Frisbee? Here you can watch Alicante Club "Bárbaros and Vikingas" playing at San Juan Beach, Alicante. It's wonderful, isn't it? Beach Ultimate is a team sport played in three formats: Men, Women, and Mixed.
Each team has 5 players on the field and the objective is to score points by catching the flying disc, called Frisbee, in the endzone of the opponent.
The team that first scores 13 points, or the team that has scored most points after 45 minutes, wins.
