Kansas "Dust in the wind" and Crowded House "Don't dream it's over".

Hello everyone,

The song called "Dust in the wind" by Kansas can summarise everything.
The rock band became popular in the 1970s. "Dust in the wind" is one of their hit singles.

I love another rock band, formed in Melbourne (Australia) in 1985, called Crowded House.
This is one of my favourite songs which is also very popular.

And This is a tribute to Led Zeppelin, a British Band formed in London in 1968, which composed "Stairway to Heaven. This was at the Kennedy Center Honors. Incredible performance.

Uncountable nouns: no plural

 Hello everybody,

We have learnt that nouns can be countable or uncountable.

Uncountable nouns can't be counted, e.g. salt, chocolate, water, rice, etc.

Look at this table and learn how to use Uncountable nouns in a sentence.

The words some and any are quantifiers. We use them with a noun when we don't know the amount.

We can use them with countable nouns and with uncountable nouns.

Look at these examples:

There's some water in the bottle.

There isn't any cheese in the fridge.

Is there any salt in the bowl? Yes, there is.

Pentecostes or Whit Sunday

 Hello everybody,

Today is the Christin High Holy Day of Pentecost which is celebrated on the 50th day from Easter Sunday and ten days after The Ascension.

It's called "Whit Sunday" or "WhitSunday" in UK and it commemorates the descent of the Holy Ghost upon the disciples of Jesus Christ, according to the New Testament of the Bible.

The day after "Whit Sunday" is called "Whit Monday" and it's a public holiday in some countries.

Now it's time for a minibeast hunt.
Make a list of the minibeasts you can find in the playground and try to hunt them.

Now take a look around you and practise.

Is there a spider walking on the wall?

Are there any worms digging holes ?

Are there any bees flying in the air or in the trees?

Are there any ants working on the ground?

Are there any grasshoppers jumping high?

Entomophobia: fear of spiders and insects.

 Hello veryone,

We are learning about creepy-crawlies also called mini-beasts. They are invertebrates.

Invertebrates don't have backbones. They have got soft and slimy bodies, shells like snails, pincers like earwigs or many legs like a millepede.

Do you know what entomophobia is? It's fear of spiders and insects.

Maybe this funny song helps you.

Let's watch this video to know more about minibeasts and take the quiz.
