The motto last year for "European Day of Languages" was "Languages in my classroom".
What is the motto this year? Due to war on the European continent as well as conflicts on Europe's doorstep this year is "Languages for peace".
They want to focus how languages can play a role in the process of achieving and maintaining peace for the generations come.

It's going to take place form 14 June to 14 July 2024. The group stage is until 26 June and the knocout stage begins on 29 June.

This championship precede the start of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

Last weekend more than 2,000 athletes gathered at Muchavista Beach (El Campello, Alicante) and San Juan Beach (Alicante) in the IV Edition Costa Blanca Beach Games
They hosted this event with six modalities: Beach Handball, Beach Tennis, Beach Rugby, Beach Soccer, Beach rowing and Beach volleyball.

What do we celebrate today?
We celebrate the 74th anniversary of Robert Schuman Declaration. On this day in 1959, Robert Schuman delivered a groundbreaking declaration that laid the foundation for the European Union as we know it. He made history with the famous "Schuman Declaration" and his idea to bring peace and unity to Europe.
Schuman was a visionary man who changed the course of European History.
Do you know this flag? Remember that democracy is a precious gift passed on to us from previous generations.

Students have found out that April 23 marks the death of famous writers like Miguel de Cervantes, Inca Garcilaso, William Shakespeare. UNESCO chose this day to pay tribute to these authors, their books and the copyright laws that protect tthem.
What is copyright? Let's talk about it.
We have also learnt that day is celebrated Saint George in some countries, included England.
Children love stories and we have read "The legend of Saint George and the dragon".
