Autumn is here: say goodbye to summer.

Hello everyone,
There are two equinoxes every year: in September and in March.
The sun position in the sky dictates the equinoxes because it shines directly on the equator and the length of day and night is nearly the same -12 hours all over the world-.
The word equinox comes form Latin and it means equal night.
The equinox in September is known like the autumnal (fall) equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.
September equinox in Alicante was 23rd September at 4:29.

However, the spring equinox starts in the south hemisphire.
