Homage to Iraila: Set fire to the rain. Colegio Santo Domingo Savio. Petrer.

Hello children,
Iraila was a funny and beautiful girl who participated in the program "La voz kids", a talent show.
She died last March after a long battle with cancer.
Iraila's family wanted the program to be broadcast as a tribute to her because she wanted to be an artist.

This is our way to send her family our condolences and pay homage to Iraila. RIP
Do you like this song by Adele? Iraila loved it.

Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day

Hell children,
This Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day. It's the day before the 40 day religious (Lent) fast which happens traditionally before Easter.
This year Pancake Day falls in early March but last year it fell in the middle of February. Do you know why?

Pancake day is a fun festival when British people eat pancakes.
It started hundreds of years ago. People enjoy eating pancakes and having fun.
Have you ever made a pancake?
Learn this rhyme:
Mix a pancake,
Stir a pancake
Pop it in the pan
Fry a pancake
Toss a pancake
Catch it if you can.
