FIFA and France Football have officially announced that Messi, Cristiano and Ribéry are the three finalists competing for this year's Ballon d'Or.
The winner will be announced on the 13th January, in Zurich.
Ronaldo was second in 2007, before winning the award in 2008. Messi has got four Ballons d'OR : from 2009-2012.
